Pickup is quick when the paperwork is in order. Here is what to have with you, and what is worth two minutes of your attention before you leave the depot.
Bring with you
A current driver licence: For every person who will drive the vehicle. Overseas licences are accepted — bring an English translation or an International Driving Permit alongside the original if it is not in English.
A payment card in the hirer’s name: The security bond is held against it and released after the car comes back.
Your booking reference: On your phone is fine. It saves us looking you up by name at the counter.
Before you drive away
Walk the car: Note any existing marks on the condition report, and photograph anything you are unsure about.
Check the fuel level: So you know where it needs to be on return.
Set up your seat and mirrors: At the depot rather than at the first set of lights, especially in a vehicle larger than your own.
Collections and returns run inside our service hours. If your flight lands outside them, tell us when you book and we will work something out.
